Not aware of any bug for that. Best bet to recheck the island part of rock lake. Lots of hidden paths leading to hidden chests

It's not bad; and it's pretty easy once you understand it. There are a few bad design choices in it, and a certain balance issue between the teams, but other than that it is playable and you can get all the medals in a few hours.

Also, I'm becoming highly suspicious that some of the medals require you to spend money through Mochi. Specifically, "Gather 8 pickups" and "Capture 10 birds." The reason for this is that pickups show up rather infrequently in the general case, to the point where I stacked over 100 cakes in classic mode and only saw 4 or 5 health pickups. Similarly, birds show up rather infrequently, and the only way to see that many of them is to have an extremely long game, which requires lots of pickups to achieve.

I got the x30 multiplier in cake mode, and I'm going to attempt the 150,000 points medal there as well. I suspect if I get a high enough multiplier I can get a ridiculous amount of points before the King even launches, and that will get me a long way there. I know one other person has gotten 150,000 in that mode already, so maybe I'll be number 2

I decided to test this by counting everything. I played several games in a row where I tracked how many cakes I'd dropped, and how many birds and pickups I saw. Here are my results:

101 cakes
5 birds
3 pickups

84 cakes
5 birds
3 pickups

85 cakes

76 cakes
4 birds
2 pickups

So if my results are typical, it'll take on average 200 cakes before you see 10 birds, let alone capture them, and 270 cakes before you see 8 pickups. Unless you spend money on the game, that is.

It is so fucking easy, I got 222 cakes stacked and around 350k points. Missed one pickup because I got 7 cupcakes in a row and at that speed you can't make the tower move side to side...

I just got my 130 cake medal in time mode. Problem is, by the time you get up there all you get are small cakes at high speed, and they're hard to control. I'm thinking I may need to play this on a slower computer to get all the medals.

Good to know. And good advice on switching to time mode, I did that on a slower computer and got a stack almost 200 tall and a score of 258k. All that's left now, it would seem, is catching 10 birds, as the other two which are remaining for me are apparently broken. Also the 10,000 coins one, but that one's just a matter of time.

Just looked at Shift 4 and the medals are invisible again. I wonder what's going on with all these medals popping up and disappearing again. I mean there was the medal misplacement between FeedtheKing and Reading Rainbow, and before that Heart of Ice's medals were working and they were worth points but it took a few days for them to show up on its portal page. weird

I agree. I'm also not sure I saw it the second time I got that high. Fun fact though, despite what the medal description says it only takes 8 captured birds to get that medal, not 10.

That would indeed be dumb, if it were true. Dropping a rotten cake off the side doesn't cause you to lose a life though.
