I probably put like 20 minutes into that game to come out with like 1700 points? One screw up takes you down to x2 no matter how high you are? It seems that you don't like my game. Yes, it is a very challenging and difficult game. Yes, it takes effort to get medals. Yes, it has some damn annoying bugs that i'm trying to get rid of. Yes, i am reading reviews and advice to improve the game and fix weird stuff. I am all working on it. The medal system is public by the way, so whoever knows the link to the medal-making page can get medals in their games. You need an approval for medals though, which i got.

Aw, you were close to a 100-point medal that you get if you finish level 12. For the laser, you only have to click the lasergun to fire it, as mentioned in the tutorial. I see you got Silver Switcher medal, well done :)

Actually, let me tell you some things that just happened to me while getting almost ALL of the medals. I got the silver switcher and was awarded 10k points or close to it. No clue what that was. After being awarded those points, I stopped being able to get multipliers by anything except gold. Once I hit the last stage at very insane and lost a life, I could get multipliers by white again, but only up until x5. There were tons of double balls, balls on both sides, and balls that vanished.

After beating the game, I was awarded another 10k points, got the gold switcher medal, and was back at stage 1. I don't know what was supposed to happen and what wasn't supposed to happen.

I still think it's stupid that you lose ALL of your multipliers by screwing up once.

And by obtaining, I meant approved.

I just got the 100 point medal for finishing the game and 2 other medals. Thanks for the awesome game, by the way! Also, you can't submit your score once you have finished the game. And since the game was still glitched I couldn't get my multiplier going unless I got the yellow ball. So I ended up with around 38,000 or more (I can't remember). I do remember that when I started the game I had 5,000 points already, and I don't know why. When I finished the game, it brought me to level 1 and I had 9,000 points at the start. The game still has some bugs, but you will fix them soon I presume.

Super Switcher is so much fucking better than Fishbane.

That 9900 point score was something that i accidentaly left on the game, i used that to get 10,000 quickly and test the bronze medal.

Four full games should get you the top rank absolutely. If you were only Elite Guard after 4 full games, well.. it is possible to be elite guard after two full games, even less i think. The more right balls you let through, the faster you rankup. The more you miss, the slower you rank up.

I got to Rank 7 as well, died on my 2nd playthrough because the laser has a cooldown?

Bugs I found: The multiplier freezes if a white ball is accepted while it is flashing from a multiplier increase. Once you get the 6th ball, if another lands there, the multiplier freezes.

White and Red balls occasionally disappear. They do not collide with the gate after disappearing.

Pause still ain't working.

As said above, the gates need labeling.

Gates can move into balls on level transitions. There needs to be a level transition, not just "oh your paddle moved into a ball now".

Where are the rank ups??? If we have to play through that game more than twice in a row to get the final medal (had 50000 points shortly after the end of 1st playthrough) it is not worth the boredom.

And just a note for anyone frustrated at not being able to get points: When you have x25 multiplier, every 6th white ball and every yellow ball will award 100 additional points. That's how I got my points so quickly.

Am I correct in assuming that if I missed the balls for 1000, 5000 and 10000 points, that the next rank up ball to drop would be at 25000? That is complete bullshit. Miss one and you have to play another whole round to get enough points? I had a rank spawn on a bomb so I had to destroy it. I would have done away with the "rank" system all together, or attach it more directly to points. 60000 points? Rank 8. No balls involved.

Another option is to have the rank balls spawn every 500 points after the threshold until they are passed, then stop spawning until the next threshold is achieved. Still a broken system though. 2/5 for the game imo, nothing new or interesting.

I let two balls go through. That's it. On the third game, on the 4th game, it didn't even give me one. On the second and third I missed 1 ball each, because that's all it gave me throughout them all.

Thank you for looking into things and fixing as much as possible. Most people don't even bother to fix or adjust things when a problem arises.

The max level of lives is 25. It's very easy to get on the last two levels.

Got all the medals for Super Switcher. I got the Champion medal in my first playthrough, and the Gold Switcher medal on the second. The only problem I got was in Level 11 and 12 where I got 2 white balls at the same time on different sides. Can you fix that problem, Zoete?
