All that's left now is to do it in a single combo

I have my path all laid out, and thoroughly memorized. This was a test run to see if I could follow my path on a single run, without being greedy for points by trying to scrape everything at all times. I broke it up into two combos at 1:23 of this video, just in case something went wrong, and was able to keep it up until near the end when the game decided I'd been off the screen for too long, even though I was just trailing behind a little and was actually catching up. Man, would I have been pissed off if I'd lost the full combo there!

Anyway, I ended up with about 10 million points at the cut, and 17.4 million at the end. When I have my real video card installed and my system can handle recording the game as I play it, I'll record a runthrough of the full combo and put it up.

And that's that. Oh, and by my estimation the score on that run will be somewhere around 35 million, sadly not the hundreds of millions I originally guessed.

Guys, just a quick question.

I know this has been discussed a lot before, but I happened to get a medal for a new game when it was still worth 0 points (it's that newest point and click game). It is now worth 25 points, but the points haven't added up to my total.

Is this fixable, or am I now unable to ever get those 25 points?

The current theory is that it will eventually be fixed. I think PsychoGoldfish said something to that extent a while ago.

You're not jumping through and holding the right arrow key down as you go? I've never landed on that spike. Ever.

That is easily the hardest level in the game though.

Well obviously I was jumping through the hole and holding the right arrow key. I changed it back to high detail and was able to get through that hole on the first try and got the speed run. It must be something with low detail on my computer.

In related news, I heard a rumor that the two new medals in that game were removed? Can anyone confirm what's going on with them?

First 5 levels: fire a lot, try not to get hit, spam attack for bosses

To beat M. Bison, get through the first 3 levels without getting hit, and for the remaining 2 levels only get hit twice, once by each boss, which you let go by you in order to charge your attack. Follow the attack pattern, let your charge build up rather than continuing to fire while low, and voila, you have all the medals.

You only hit the last letter to throw stuff. You can also slow it down with multiple windows playing vids or stuff.

Yes, it's a game you can't beat if you peck and don't know know homerow/key loacations offhand 100%, so just slow it down with multiple windows and it becomes much easier.

Took me a few days of practice to get it right, it's more important to know where qwbvxczmn are, and how to get to g and h quickly without messing up. (even doing home row typing I always lift my hand to hit g or h...)
