Worked for me...it even gave me the medal 10 times (literally)...
What didn't work was the 5x kill...well, maybe some medals don't work sometimes..oh well.
I'm also having a bit of trouble with survival...
The plunger medal can't be obtained by using a custom map..
Protip: if you want to get the x5 kill (and the liftoff medals) easily, just follow these steps:
1)Create a map with only one platform as long as the level itself and with you spawning on the far left of the map and the others on the far right.
2)Disable all weapons
3)Play a deathmatch with you vs 5 other bots (you are team one, they are team two)
4)Enable permarage and x5 damage.
5)Hop around till you get invincibility
6)???
7)Profit.
Only medal to get now is survival.

Or spawn yourself right behind them and hit them at the beginning. I gave code in my previous post.

Okay, so I got all the medals...
I don't really have any tips about survival because it's really based on luck...well, maybe a few, but they aren't gonna help a lot:
Try to get any guns first..not because you can do a lot with them, but because your enemies can own your ass with them.Same goes for baseball bat.
The first 2-3 enemies can be killed just by charging your punch and sending them into outer space...then it gets harder.Try to avoid their attacks by jumping around..if you have a good weapon and you're waiting for someone to respawn, go to the far left or far right of the map.
Never try to spawncamp the later enemies because you have no chance.
For the last two or three (out of 10) you have to move left and right all the time, and try to attack them every once in a while..by doing this I managed to kill the last two guys with only one life and a few HP left...
This might be a stupid question but how do you get either the "Up and away" medal or "Lift off" medal?

With rage or charged punches and heavy explosives...just blow them up and hope that they go high enough..
Hm. I thought survival was easy. Just and dodge as required. Don't let them get the explosives cuz they'll blow themselves up and you don't get the KO.

You don't?I didn't notice that...so essentially if they suicide (maybe by an AI bug that makes them fall into the pit) you don't get the K, even if you lost most of your HP fighting them?That blows...

Turn on the damage multiplier (x2) and a charged punch will send them up and away. you'll get x5 damage. Turn that on to get the lift off.

This kinda reminds me of Worms games (more specifically Worms 4)...if you had the damage enhancers the worms would blast off higher than normal...
Also, if you wanna kill two birds with one stone you can play the "Lava Palaver" level and hop around until the time's up...it's really easy, you'll get to see some lulzy teamkills and you'll get both the "Pacifist" and "Immortal" medals..

you can't do it on a custom map, it has to be one of the premade maps. It was extremely easy for me to do on technichaos with hazards disabled and no crates/powerups.
also for something funny, turn on infinite ammo and do a 5v1 with only homing missiles and if you fire a bunch and everybody dies then they stay still in the air waiting for people to spawn.

So, Valthirian Arc (and Video game trailer)'s medals work now, we all know that..we also know that some people (including me) that got the medals before the fix now can't get them at all.
So should I ask PG to delete my medals for VA and VGTC, or is it a waste of time (he can't do it so I'll have to wait for the fix)?
i love playing as the awesome face in CF2.
anyway, the game's relatively easy. only the 50 pts medals are hard.

There was a post earlier in this thread, they're aware of it and it will be fixed automatically when the medal system leaves beta. You're just going to have to wait for the fix.
About that beta stuff... we're not losing our medals when the system leaves beta, right?

Which weapons can get you the "Burned to a Crisp" medal? The only ones I'm missing at this point are that, the medals for beating each set of levels, and the survival medal.
Though amusingly I've got the medals spread out over 2 computers, so the fact the game checks which medals you have at startup means I can never get everything unlocked on a single machine. So that's kind of annoying.

I just sent EON a message asking if, since the game checks which medals you've already got, it could also give you the unlockables those medals award. It would really suck once I finish to not be able to have everything unlocked even though I did everything, just because I did it in two places.

It's the most easy to get at the Farmageddon stage (zone 1, level 3). Just jump of the screen, and then double jump to recover.
