I did a combination of them all which made it seem like I had to get the donut from each place once, because I happened to get the medal on the last donut option.

I dunno, I got each donut once by following the guide and I got the medal as soon as I got the last one...
So repeating a scene isn't really speeding things up if you play for the first time...just play the game and get the donuts as you play.

So, I found in Tetraform that if you let everything circle around you on level 3 and let the missile launchers destory you, you have time after you blow up to still select ships. As such, with all the little guys whirling around, a bunch of missiles, and missile launching ships all near each other without your planet being in the way, getting a 10X or higher combo is really easy by just selecting two diametrically opposed targets.

Now if I could only get that silly sidekick medal. The last boss always destroys all of my spikes before I beat him. I want this game off my "to-do" list!

IIrc the sidekick medal requires quite a bit of luck...

Yeah, that level is a bit tricky. Timing is crucial, and getting it right the first time is everything - since the bats don't re-spawn.

Go all the way to the right and slide down the wall till you can safely land on the block. Avoid the bat that is closest to the bottom of the wall you just slid down ( you need it to get back up there). Jump to the moving platform to your right, and do a wall jump, then double jump, to get on the upper moving platform. You well see 4 bats at the top. The bottom most one is the one you want to jump on. Wait till it is moving right, and a few inches away from the wall. If you time your jump right you will avoid the bats above as you double jump towards the switch. Hit the switch and quickly slide down the wall, pushing left near the bottom of it to move that direction and into the alcove containing the chest. Open the chest and move out quickly before the gate closes. Jump on the moving platform again, and then jump left onto the original block you landed on at the the beggening. Wait for the uppermost bat to get close to the wall. Jump on it, and double jump right toward the wall, then do a wall jump onto the platform with the door. Simple. :3

Seriously, people, for old games check wylina's page first. Furthermore we do not generally condone cheats and hacks...(tricks are fine, though it can get tricky on where to draw the line...)

i think it's safe to say that the "right click-foward-back" trick is acceptable in that game.
after all, it's madness to really do what you really need to do. you wouldn't spend 15 hours for just 50 points, right?

I just put a stack of coins on it to weigh it down. The trick is to be back when time runs out, or the game knows you cheated and you'll have to do it again. So I did it while watching T.V. next to my computer. Sweet, sweet radiation poisoning.

as greeneggs4spam said on his guide its tedious to get all the medal if you play the way its was meant to be played . but i cant even get medals now because some of them, i think, only work on concert mode and i dont know how to change from free to concert mode =(
