My Experimenting one didn't go through.. and it doesn't resend it...

they all worked for me, good game. maybe try deleting save file to get it to resend?

Thanks, although most of us already have all the medals...oh well.Also, you could put in the video walkthrough too if you want.

Games like that aren't fun when you use the walkthrough. I had to end up using it, but only for a few things. Once I got use to the way to type things more specifically I got the other 15 or so medals by myself. It did take me about a half hour, but it's definitely more fun when you do it yourself.

Yeah I agree, I really don't get why people are so happy the author included a walkthrough.

Most of the new games were fun to play, but I really hate games like M-Bot The Game & Punk-o-matic 2, it just lags to much for me to even bother getting the medals. =(

I just tested it, and didn't get any medals. Shift medals have most definitely NOT been fixed. At least from my testing.

Exactly. If you want to play the game, play the game. If you don't, use the walkthrough. You have to click a link to get there. It's not ruining the game for you unless you click it.

I found a few things that are pointing me in the direction that Phreneticus is hacking. I will discuss this further with H-O-S. If anyone else can manage to get kustomized medal and Shift 4 medals, it's important to let me know. While shift 4 used to work (I got them when they did) we all know they do not work anymore, and kustomized never worked. This guy has all obtained these recently. A few other things that make me suspicious.

Merlin's Apprentice before Hard mode medal
100% completion on dad game before tower of destiny hard and creator kill medal
Barbarian bob 100% completion before kill 50 enemies
He's gathered almost 10000 points in 4-5 days according to nglogs which I know for a fact is impossible to do, even if you play for 4 days straight. There's just almost no way.

Although I know that order of medals doesn't always mean hacking, because the system is very buggy, but if he can get medals that we know for a fact are not currently working, I am removing him from the list.

Damn, makes me wish I had the dedication and skill for a lot of these games so I'd be able to figure out what medal combinations are possible...merde...at least I can try to get Kustomized though, see if that works or not.

Hmm, well, this is what he said when asked about SHift 4:

I really don't know, I just can tell you what I exactly did

1.) Playing the game through, still no medals [even with the fixed version]
2.) Using an old .sol file [didn't worked either]
3.) Clear all .sol files of Shift 4
4.) Playing from beginning in pop-up mode
5.) No Medal pop-up but they got registered in my profile

I hope that this will help you somehow.. otherwise try to contact the creator of Shift 4, he just fixed the medal thing, I think.. a few days ago so he will still remember what he did. Maybe he got some suggestion for you, I don't know. Anyway good luck at getting them.. It's really crap if you have to play it trough multiple times and don't get them. I had this often enough on NG.

EDIT: I've just send a PM to TheEXP [creator of Shift], lets see what he got to say to that.

Definitely strange, but I say we PM him to ask him how did he get all the medals in such a wierd order (and some of the medals that you can't get).

There's just too many things pointing to him being a hacker, it's like my radar is going haywire in all directions (one of those compasses that finds what you are looking for lol).

If you ask someone what/how they did things, they'll usually just find an excuse.

I think he got caught right handed with the Shift 4 medals. The message has been up for a very long time that the game has been updated (waiting for approval)and I think he didn't know this and decided to hack it thinking that he'd just be the first one to get it.

Now, if the game is actually fixed and others manage to get it as well, I'll believe him on that aprt, but there's still a load of stuff that makes no sense.

True. I don't mind people do it this way. It's just not my thing, I only use a walkthrough when I really can't figure it out on my own. But yeah, it saves some time for the people who write those walkthroughs, and it also saves time for people who think medals are more important than having fun playing a game. ;)

Just a quick question. My loading of medal games has been glitched up recently. For example my One Button Bob and Chibi Knight just sped right through to the ending, thus giving me medals that I shouldn't have gotten. Is there any way to fix this?
