It gets ridiculously hard. I tried for 20 minutes trying to get to 1 chest and didn't ever make it.

Yeah, that game was fun. I wish I had known you could kill the boss to grind experience instead of killing birds.

This Anubis game is hard. Too hard for me to complete. But, I got 3 out of 4 medals.

Well, the game has an awesome art style and music, and the level design isn't that bad...but, we all know that 8-bit-like games on NG are usually hard as fuck for some reason.
Anyway, maybe I'll try to get some medals later...but tell me, why do coins even exist?
You don't get any medals for collecting them and you can't do anything with them in-game (unless I stopped playing too soon to find out)

I lied. I finished all the medals. My advice to you is ignore the coins. They are there for score. Most likely for Candystand.com rankings. Which means very little to us. But if you want to challenge yourself, go for it.

Also, if you get to a level you can't beat, skip it. Then come back to it later. Levels I thought were impossible were easy as hell when I came back to them. They still took like 40 tries though.

Cause 8-bit-like makers think the graphics are low-quality, so they make it REAL hard to 'replace' it.

I just got 17:83 on the first level and got gold, so I can confirm it's under 18 seconds for gold on the first level.

Sorry for the triple post, but here's what I have for gold times for the race levels:

Level 1: < 18:00
Level 2: < 29:00
Level 3: < something greater than 21:57

Also, for the third race level, don't try to weave your way between the purple rifts, you won't make it in time. You can get to walkable territory if you drop down towards the bottom, and then just run it.

Good to know. I'd add it to the guide, but wylina didn't feel the game needed a guide and hasn't added mine to the list yet, even though I PM'd it.

if you added videos or tips/trick I'm sure wylina would add it. As it is now it's not much of a walkthrough. Essentially you're saying, "if you don't have gold in the races, you need to go faster; and the goal of the collection level is you need to collect all stars."

If anyone is making an Anubis walkthrough, I made a video of level 7 because I am extremely bored. That was the hardest level for me to get the idol for. The quality sucks, and I don't know what to do about that. Some of the levels have specific paths you need to follow or you will probably never be able to set the right situation up again.

OK "Wrath of Anubis" is really making me angry, I do not know if my problem or the game, every time I move my character that has been going on just as if the keys are locked, and even to blow it up if I press "A" I jump, I must press them at least 2 times to make a single jump!

Made me too angry this game is for this reason I surrender, I will settle for a medal.

Anybody having trouble playing the new game? crashed a couple times when entering a door or starting the game, and I even got a medal called undefined and then it crashed. Maybe they are implementing the pop-up medals in the game.

I've used firefox with no glitches whatsoever. Pretty simple and easy game. It looks like there are actually 51 idols in the game so you don't actually have to play level 30.

I also didn't have any relevant problems playing in Firefox; just my own inadequacy. Right now it's an even shot whether I'll try the game out again.

On the other hand, back when that 5 Minute Xtreme Shoot Em Up game came out I could hardly even survive, and then I left it alone for 5 months and when I came back I could mysteriously play it incredibly well, so maybe Anubis is just another game like that where the best strategy is to abandon it for a while.

Depends on your computers processor / ram. Firefox runs almost 400K mem usage, while chrome runs it about 185K.

A few people have complained about Chibi Knight freezing up and the only thing in common is that they're all using firefox. The game runs fine on my comp's firefox, but I'm guessing there's some add on or some version or some hardware conflict on a few computers that's causing the game to overly lag/lock up in firefox. It's really baffling me.

That is probably the reason. I use firefox and didn't have an issue with running through the game twice.

I'm looking to update my Tetraform Walkthrough. Someone said at one point that there is exactly one spot where you can get the C-C-C-C-Combo medal, did anyone ever say where that spot is?

I'm pretty sure I got mine on the last boss. You need to chain together some of the doomsday devices right before they explode causing all the missiles to hit each other.

So have we found our next Lastman?
