Was hoping this game or Robin the archer were going to get medals. Enjoyed playing them both over the weekend.

Sorry for the double post, but I think this is necessary to note.

For whatever reason, my browser tends to build up a huge amount of memory when playing this game, causing my browser to crash when i try to close it after playing for 30 mins or so.

Not sure if this is the memory leak the author says he fixed, but thought it was worth noting for people who havn't played before.

Eh, no me gusta The Gun Game. I just completed the Level 5 on all three parts of the campaign, and, just like the sponsor, I'm bored. It's a pretty good time-waster, though.

I agree. Not sure why the author put in achievements like "shoot 1000 bullets" when you can do the 3 tasks usually shooting only like 100-200 bullets. Then your left sitting there clicking.

Can somebody inform if the update is working for them? that gold rifle still has a 3 second time to beat, even though he says he updated the game since thats obviously impossible. And he needs to add a medal button in his game because I have 90% of the medals but they don't pop-up because I had got them before medals came out for that game.

Also, can you really be sigless if you write that as your sig? :)

It's working for me I guess, the gold rifle had a 4 second time when I just did it. The memory leak thing still seems to be there though, and I swear at least 7 of the challenges are still impossible.

You have to have the green box touch the green platform for 3 seconds. Not too hard usually.

Really? When I load the game, every time I get the popups for all the medals I've already achieved today. Reminiscent of FUi2, Every time.

I agree with you over Krev. That would DEFINITELY be helpful. Maybe even if it showed like the medals you didn't have somewhere nearby too (but only for games you've already played and achieved a medal in). I definitely think that would be an easier way than everything Krev listed.

Well the gun game is broken. I have already obtained all achievements, but the medal won't unlock.

I noticed a few people complaining about it in the comments before I got it. There's probably some exact way you have to get it or it'll break or something.

I got it by firing my exact 980th shot with that pain-in-the-ass rifle in Warm Up, then exiting to the achievements page.

TRICK FOR THE BULLET ACHIEVEMENTS:

Go into a challenge or whatever (for bullet count) and the go on AIM and IM someone then exit out of the IM window. Immediately start shooting your gun and hold until you are IMed back. Once the IM pops up you're free to do whatever the fuck you want while your gun keeps shooting in the background and you can watch the bullet counts.

Caraboo, do you know that there is something like that in the works, being coded right now? I was suggesting alternatives to use in the meantime. Of course the non-existent feature is better than doing all that, but what the fuck do you think we're all doing right now anyhow?

Go drink two bottles of Stolichnaya. Then come back if you're still conscious. :)

Nope didn't know that. But I shall take your advice for Thursday.

Note: My gun trick only works for automatics.. and it can also be done by simply right clicking while shooting as well.. Haha

Man, honestly, after 30 minutes, my game started lagging badly too. I really don't feel like going for achievements with a laggy computer. It's never fun, especially when you're trying to do "expert challenges". Not a bad game though. This will slow down the 1337s, hardcore gamers, regulars (me), and the casuals until our next medal game, at least. I guess the last group would be "wtf is this game?" group.
