It seems I am in a very large minority with this game in this thread. Don't get me wrong Matt EBF2 is going to be a great game but I just can never really get into a turn based strategy game. To me it gets a bit repetitive with the "You stand there and I'll hit you and I'll stand here and you can hit me."

Any way Matt great beta I got to the mini game before I stopped in the beta, I hope I'll be able to power my way through the game with a guide from Wylo or someone.

How about he just doesn't want to tell us because this medal system is a freaking competition? He is happy he found out how to get a medal not much people got yet, which gives him the opportunity to get into first place. That nobody else can get it isn't really a proof that he's a hacker, the fact that several people got over 90 shows us that it's just hard and greatly based on luck, nothing more. He's innocent until you or someone else delivers some definitive evidence, like the author saying it's impossible to get the medal for example.

So, until you got this evidence stop accusing everyone being a hacker.

You're right the only people (not many like 2) that got it supposedly got it when it wasn't the same version of the game.

That's the problem in itself. First off, there isn't several people that got over 90, and certainly not after the update. Second, if no one else can get it, ya it pretty much proves he's a hacker.

The medal system is a competition, yes, but it's also about helping one another...why do all these guides exist?

Actually the programmer of the game has said that it might be impossible after the update. Pages back someone posted a conversation they had with the programmer saying that after the update it might be impossible to get that medal and after many tries by me, and everyone else, it seems pretty impossible now.

Lol, l finished the game, the final boss is an unbeatable supersized kitty...l have a pic of it at the end of my guide...lol.
Overall the game is awesome on all levels and if you don't count the bugs, which will be fixed anyway, this is one of the best 100% free flash games EVAR.

Now when i win level 1 in Runes of Shalak it freezes,

It really doesn't matter now, I'm not just pointing at the guy, it's to anyone who feels like shooting of bullets each time they think someone has hacked without proof. No evidence = No "hacker". Anyone who is found to be "hacking" should be reported to PyschoGoldfish with evidence that supports there claim, not bring it in here and stirring a mess up. This thread is for medals (games and tips), not pointing fingers at others.

Well my problem here is that, like gdfhgdfs, he also says something suspicious when he could've just given an elusive answer or just not answer at all.

However, gsdhsdgsf (however you spell it) admitted it, and there was clear proof to back it up. Basically, it doesn't matter now, but if you think someone's hacking, it's best to report it to someone who can handle it and actually check what is going on.

You know, a "fixed glitch" seems like a good explanation for why users (like life) might have that medal. Maybe they just exploited an early glitch that was fixed by the author. Or maybe not...

Either way, it seems that it's impossible now, and with the literate/illiterate thing, I'd really rather that game just get its medals deleted.

Seriously? It's this big of a deal that there's someone who may or may not hack games for medals? Isn't the whole idea of a medals system a glorified ranking of achievements? Is it that important to someone who, in my opinion, should really only care about the medals they themselves can get? If someone is hacking a game to get a medal, it's because they're so shallow and have such low self-esteem that they feel the need to be near the top just to say so, in order for them to feel superior (or maybe just to try and feel like they accomplished something). But a game is meant to be enjoyed, and a medal is there to let YOU know that YOU did something the creator thought difficult or significant. Can't we just put away the fact that other people can cheat because it has nothing to do what you have done yourself?

My argument is how easy it is to shout "hack" and have everyone turned against someone for just having a seemingly impossible medal. Like I said before, I'm not someone who's usually on the boards (though I read them for guidance), so it'd be easy for someone to say "hey, i don't know you! how do you have all those DtB medals?!?! haxxors!!!1" and have my medals stripped of me. Not saying it'll happen (took a long time for gdsfgdsf to have his taken away so it's not all that simple), but judging from the reaction he got from some other users for saying thanks sarcastically, I'm pretty sure he got his fair shair of PMs degrading him for what seriously isn't something worth fighting about. What if someone were to be seriously harassed because of it? A good chunk of users are young impressionable teens. What if they hurt themselves or others because of something like this? Yes, I know it seems extreme, but I'm sure it can happen more often than getting the pancake medal.

All I'm saying is that the medals are there to display your accomplishments FOR YOURSELF. Cool if you wanna show them off, but to be ticked and lash out at someone cuz you think they hacked isn't and really shouldn't matter unless it's your life goal to get every single medal. And if it seriously is, then grow up some.

I don't know what was this update since l didn't play the game for a long time, but l know there was one...the author says it, the users say it so l don't really think that the gameplay matters..also, if you get a score of 65 it's normal that you didn't see a diference...65 is really low for this game so you need to get 80 or more to see if there is a difference..
