By the way, the thing that l hate most in Epic mode for EBF is that the bosses use their skills a lot more (poison/seal) and make your life harder because if he, for example, seals both characters you gotta waste both of your turns just to cure them, and if they're low on health you're pretty much fucked...

i have to agree, the game is beatable but no matter what anyone says... its mostly down to luck *aka what goku does*... if he spirt bombs you 5 times in a row... then seals both of your guys... when you cant cure it... then thinks it would be fun to do another spirt bomb... then yeah... it takes so god dam long to get to that point just for it to be messed up... its possible, but anyoing...

I don't know...i always keep my character health point for at least 75% by using either healmore or judgement but its actually waste of magic point and make me only have 2 max either left for the last battle and that's impossible

And that´s why you should use the Devils Sword with the fighter. To recover a lot of your MP. And to still do a lot of damage, I suggest you do that attack increasing move and spam Legend often.

With the mage, take good note of what types of attack the enemies use (magic or physical). On a magic enemy, I suggest you defend from time to time to let the mage recover her MP.

About 10-15 Ethers should be enough to last until the end of the game.

I just beat the game on Hard mode!
I had Goku on low health, and he SB us.
I hit him with Seiken and then, risking my ass out, l summoned Catastrophe...
It was a very close call, but l had no other choice.
Happily, it worked and Goku died while l had both of my characters alive..
Still, now l have to face an even bigger challenge...Epic Mode...
Any suggestions are welcome.

Yeah..i finally got it, the pwnt medal(Arrgh...!!! darn it!) i thought its easier to just defend the mage all the time to keep the MP for the last battle, damn that mecha lazor beam, i don't even know that he just cast that move since i was left to toilet

Haha congrats man. You know where all the advice for that is. There's at least 3-4 really good strategies out there ranging from safe and slow to impatient and risky. If you do the same thing you did on hard and just be a little more cautious with your health and be willing to wait another 15 minutes to actually kill him. Good luck though buddy!

AH, l wasn't asking for a Goku Walkthrough, more of a general stuff...l am pretty sure l will have serious problems with the goddamn trees and the floating eyeballs...well, l guess l will have to buy a lot more antidotes eh?
In the last game l had (at the start of the Goku Ballte) 3 Max Ethers, which l used, 4 antidotes, which l aslo used, 2 max potions, which l used, and 2 waters of life, which l used....
Seeing that all enemies will have more HP these won't be enough so l have to conserve my items right?
My general rules for my next try are:
Don't ever give max ethers to the guy, only ethers (he can always recover with his sword).
The mage has the priority in most situations.
Do NOT use Catastrophe unless you are sure you are gonna kill your enemy/ies
Hit the enemy with maximum power at his weak points.
Try to conserve antidotes and use them on the guy only

Always have barrier and protect on agaist the last two bosses... (this will help you stay alive)
before the big bosses, knock them down to one foe, then use mog as well as defend for the girl...

this will help you get fullish health and fullish mana... (also mabey a few magic powerups)
and when your happy to go to the boss... use barrier on the girl... then at the start of the next round... use protect from the guy, then kill it will the girl... that way you dont have to spend the first turn powering up your defences... in the final bosses, mana for the girl isnt imporant... (as long as the boss is under half health) beacuse he will use the power up attacks and this will regen your mana on the girl... the guy may require mana pots or mog...

Screamer is a must move... use a combo of Screamer, and power metal to keep the hp up, and the incoming damage lower... as well as they will take more damage from magical attacks...

In my opinion getting the Hero-medal was more time consuming then challenging.
Ulike most of you I did not really use the fighter to make much damage,for example I never used screamer nor power metal.Most of the time I used him to stay alive and heal the girl and cure her from poison and the spell which makes her unable to cast spells.
I always used the blood sword on my fighter while my mage was healing or defending most of the time.
The only close fights were against the two bosses you have to fight simultaneous and of course with Goku.
I think there are better strategys for the two elemtal enemys in my case the fight was a close call.
The fight with Goku was just taking long but I was always playing safety so that he just could not kill me in any case.
I do not know if anyone mentioned it before but I think Goku uses the spirit bomb only after half of his life was lost so before this happens the fight should be quite easy and my only advice for this part is not to power yourself out in the beginning.
After he uses spirit bombs it gets very important to have you characters always on maximum health and also have them buffed with anything posible.
In my case it was very important to give the mage the mana potion (I do not know the name exactly the one which makes your spells stronger) because the mage could heal both character to fuel health with one spell and make significant damage with Jugement.In addition to this Jugement heals the mage so in case the mage took damage she could heal herself up and make good damage.
So even in case Goku spamed Spirit bombs and the spell which does not allow you to use spells I did not have any problems.
In case my characters could now cast any spells I used an antidote on the mage and healed both characters up with her.
In case Goku spammed spirit bombs I could attack with my fighter which drained quite a lot life from the boss in case he was buffed and used the mage either for jugement if she had enough mana or for healing herself or both characters depending on the situation.
I never tried any other strategy because I got through the whole game three times with this strategy and I do not feel like playing it again.So I can not decide if my strategy is safer then the other ones but now that I read many users have problems with this medal I think it could be worth a try.

go to Gel's part of teh collab and you can get the tiger uppercut medal your missing. It's at the very end when you hear Ryu driving off, you gotta click on Sagat somewhere, dont remember atm.
