Best not to question it. O_O Nah, they were just some random idea I was messing around with because I didn't have much direction with my art. When I put them up all of the teachers that came over and saw them assumed it was some sort of feminist statement, or something grotesque and destructive. Kind of off putting really, I was just messing around. The whole art industry is so 'ism' based, everything is about theories, and self obsession is revered to some extent. I keep asking myself why I want to do this. I love drawing and making art but i hate the whole being shoved into a box thing, like you have to have an absolute theory and direction, and I have practically none. Other than the fact that I like people, like who they are, people not as an object (like models and advertisements) but people in all of their uniqueness, individuality, um... personalities. I love behind the scenes docos, seeing who people/celebrities are underneath the surface because there are so many different types of people who exist, and essentially we are similar in so many ways. I don't know about what I would do with that artistically other than portraits though, and the teachers/lecturers/art industry don't/doesn't think much of portraits outside of anything from the late 19th/early-mid 20th century, or anything controversial. Fair enough though, I find so many portraits are dull to look at, I need to find something different that isn't going to be dull for other people (especially me) to look at. Sorry, this was a very long paragraph. I just don't know what I'm doing with my life at all.
Oh, and they're not Barbies either, just cheap two dollar rip offs filled with flourescent pink paint. I was drying them, hence the hanging upside down-ness.

man, i should start putting more effort into my comics. i just sorda make them as i go, it takes like 10 mins to draw and 30 mins to color them :S. if i spent 30 mins thinking about them id make way better comics lol.

Well i decided to a pastel of it at school and i thought it turned out pretty cool. Im especially proud of the clouds which you can't really see well in the scanned version :(
