Thanks for the great update Afro_Stud!
Ditto. And congrats to everyone who did something significant this week, and to Afro_Stud for the star pace. I won't be getting anywhere close to one of those again any time soon.

Won't be passing many people up this week. Nice pace Omgee!
Thanks. I'm surprised, considering that I was gone for a sizeable chunk of every single day this week, and missed Saturday *completely* -- as in, woke up five minutes before I had to leave the house and didn't even get on the computer at all. Plus, I had no connection for most of last weekend because of the huge storm that hit us... so I'm surprised I had any kind of a decent rate at all!

How the hell did you get such a good pace?
He must've left late or something. He's only gotten one point since the update, so maybe he's finally gone now.
God I would love to pass Omgee. Not that I have anything against him, he's a great guy, but he is the only one that has passed me (well Donthurtme and Shadow-Angel did, but I passed them back up) and I would love to get some revenge! I don't think I will pass him in the next few weeks but I will be right on his tail.
For a variety of reasons, you will pass me before long, and it probably won't take much effort at all. I'll be doing a lot of volunteer work over the break, and starting January 2nd, I'll be going to school full-time (real classes, not online this time), plus volunteering two or three full days a week, plus working part time. I will, most likely, have exactly zero days off until March, and with my course load being what it is, I probably won't be on NG much at all. I'll deposit, and catch a few BP points when I can, but real life's going to have to take priority for a while, and I have a feeling I'll lose quite a few ranks over the next couple of months.
BPing's gotten a bit mindless for me lately, anyway. Spending hours on NG has started to feel more like a chore than anything, and even when I level or gain ranks, it's not really that exciting for me anymore. I don't really enjoy the movies much anymore, either; I watch them, but I kind of do so on autopilot now, as opposed to really appreciating what I'm seeing, and that's lame. Life should be more than just another stat point, and I should be voting because I give a shit, not just so I can move up the ranks.
Plus, I feel like my ass is taking on the shape of my chair, and that's just not healthy. I need to start getting more exercise, and winter here in Washington is depressing enough without spending all of my free time on the computer. I need friends, and a life, and I need to find both of those things away from my desk.
I will still be around some, but my days of getting huge BP scores are probably over for a while.

I know exactly what you mean. You and Omgee are the only two to have passed me so far and stayed ahead, so pass him for me :)
You, too, will probably pass me before very long, depending on how busy I really am after the start of the new quarter, and on how much interest I take in BPing after that.
Regardless, I'll still be cheering both of you on, and will continue moving -- however slowly -- toward the highest rank. :)

Yes, that was nice of her to do.

that's so disgusting. im fucking dying without the internet, really. i moved into an apartment, so i suppose i'm not homeless any more ;)
Glad you're not homeless anymore. Yeah, I went a few days without being online because of the storm here, and it was no fun at all. As much as I don't want to spend my whole day online anymore, it's still no good not having ANY access. Hope you can get your internets back soon!
Merry Christmas, and a happy Kwanzaa to you all. <3
