These are a group of night-time (low light) photographs I took a while back. They've all been touched up with Paint Shop Pro to some extent (generally just contrast-wise) as the originals weren't exactly brilliant. They were taken with a small, crappy, digital camera (and tripod, obviously) sometime last year, just down the road from my house.
I hope you guys like them, tell me what you think. :)

I know I could certainly have done them better though... the camera I used is my dad's, and I have no idea how to change the settings properly (aperture, shutter-speed, ISO etc...) so I think it was just on auto with the flash turned off, which is unlikely to produce the best results.
I now have a Digital SLR though, which makes things much easier!

Nope! :P I just walk past that area (often in the dark this time of year) on my way back from college, and one day I thought "hey, this could make some nice photos".
I am, however going to include them in my A2 project on "Transformation" as experiments. I'm going down the abstract route (and looking at Renger-Patzsch, although his work little resembles these photos), and so due to the high contrast/low-light they do kinda fit in.
They're really decent. I want to do photography for my next piece, and I want to study it in college next year as well. They're really nice. I especially like the road sign one.

I'm thinking of re-doing these soon (or doing similar ones) since I now have a much better camera. If I do ill be sure to post them here.
