Big Black List of portal Tricks

Fucking the system upon submitting:
this only applies if you don't think your flash can survive on it's own.

enjoy :P (and thank me for letting a whole bunch of crap get to the portal using this tricks)
this is a great way to get turd of the week if it's one of your goals :P

This is based off 3 elements
1)the title
2)the authors comment
3)the preloader

The Title
a)choose a very attractive name for your flash, it may not contain words like "sticks" or anything that can turn portal viewers down

b)do not include the word "demo" "preview" or"test" on the title

c)use caps properly, MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY SPELLING ERRORS

The Author's Comment

a)never tell people how to vote, they hate it

b)never say you're new at flash, or that this is your first flash, if this is your first flash, say only that this is the first flash for newgrounds, and only if you must.

c) make sure you co-author people if you don't have any other flash submitted.

d)Include "UPDATE: Thanks for all the great reviews :)" at the start of the authors comment

e)tell people it took you months to make this flash, and you think that you've really topped yourself

f)post data which is pretty obvious but makes people think you're serius like for a 4MB game you can say "Over 4,000 variables" which is true because 4MB are actually around 4 million boolean variables.

The Preloader

a)Include a preloader

b)NO MUSIC IN THE PRELOADER

c)do not use the ng preloader, use another preloader

d)make the preloader as attractive as possible, after all it's how most portal movies are being judged nowdays

e)do not include a fun preloader game, people might play it and decide to actually stick around for your flash :P just include a nice animated preloader

f )animate your preloader, put alot of time in it

These are ways to cheat and scam our beloved portal, personally I hate people who use them but think those exploits are pretty funny (on the haha at the portal critics way) .

Um... you forgot "don't go overboard on the ratings". It's an instant blam when someone sees a movie with, "Excessive nudity, Excessive buttsecks" or whatever. The same goes with movies that have titles like, "HORNY HENTAI SLUT LEZZBIANZ TEH SECKZ OMFGOMFGOMFG VOTE FIFEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111!!!111" for a title... but quite a few of those have been turd of the week.

Urgh... I hate it when people do that and submit a 6 second cartoon, it's not funny OR clever.

DEADSiM2s TIP OF THE DAY!!

Say the flash took you longer than it did, but don't go overboard. A five second flash shouldn't be submitted at all, but anything under 30 seconds must take you a week or two, 1-2 mins takes from 2-4 weeks.

-Any Video Game Beginning with the following acronyms: LOZ, FF,MGS, HALO
-Star Wars
-Lord of the Rings

Regardless if they are only in there as some poster on a wall.

i think what saves me from a instant blame in my head is when there is a pretty long comment by the artist..like what itsaout, what they did ..how long they worked on it
