Not really. Tom and Wade run the site and they trust their mods. If a mod wants to pitch a fit about something he doesn't agree with then he should do it in private with Wade, not make it a public issue. Mods should be expected to act maturely. If they can't then they don't deserve their modship. The whole reason certain people are picked is because of their reliability, trust, and overall behavior. At least I've always assumed so.

Um, you do know that it was merely oscar changing his name to Dr. Moxley that was the reason for the thread, not that Wade had actually done anything, right? It may have been the picture that pissed him off the most, though.

I don't disagree with this at all. In fact, mods have suprised me sometimes by their behavior. I guess I am in agreement with Wade on this one because he posted it privately and expected his mods to keep it that way. I personally have always liked FUNKbrs and this won't change my opinion of him. I simply understand Wade's point-of-view and his decision.

The problem with a lot of members on this site is that if you try to help someone out with a question, correct them about something they did, or - GOD FORBID - agree with a mod or admin then suddenly you are sucking dick for modship. Just because I agree with Wade in his decision doesn't mean I agree with him every time on everything and it certainly doesn't mean I am trying to brown-nose to be a mod. If he or anyone else wanted to make me a mod then they would. I, unlike many NGers, don't site at my computer all day waiting for that "Madship Granted" email to arrive. I come here for fun and that's it. If they wanted to make me a mod then let them judge by my regular posts. I'm not an asskisser nor will I be accused of it.

As a side note, Nephthys is one of the best posters on NG. Until recently she was on the site a hell of a lot more than me and participated much more in the discussions. Nephthys deserved her modship and I have never had a single ounce of jealousy for that. It's too bad some of you others can't say the same.

Mod picks aren't based on number of posts, levels, or sign-up dates. Maybe when people realize that they'll stop assuming everyone isn't as shallow and judgemental as they are. In other words, -Volcom-, I'm not like you at all.
