Animation Fest and Throwback Thurs! 2014-10-30 14:43:06

If you plan to carve a pumpkin for Halloween, carve a character from NG and enter our Pumpkin Carving contest!

Making your own costume? Enter our costume contest!

If you're in the LA area, don't miss the NG screening at the Animation Breakdown festival! I'm flying in for the weekend and our screening is 10:30PM on Sunday, November 23rd. The focus is on the early years, 2000-2005 mostly. More info and tickets are available at the bottom of that page.

Speaking of old stuff on NG, today is Throwback Thursday! Everything on these lists is from this week in NG history. You'll have to scroll through the first two replies to see it all. Scan for old favorites and share some memories with us!

That really only happened because it was deep linked from Dumping Grounds, which had this crazy back-end system for handing off files that wasn't intended for heavy use (we ditched that since then). If it has been hosted like a regular file everything would have been fine.

I haven't done a Treasure Hunt ever since that year that I never finished going through the 1000+ entries... Although I do think a lot about doing another one anyway, with a cap so people can't go back forever.

It's Halloween. Yup. Hey, don't for get to check out the user pages of: Tom and Wade Fulp, Stamper, Liljim and other staffers, for an *absolutely free* Halloween medal! There's also some games that give free medals on this day, like Pico Radio...

Speaking of which, why is there no record of these userpage issued medals, on our medals list!? Really love to see pods pop up... crap, should've printscreened it! Stamper was the last one I needed, and since I played a few medal games right afterwards, it's washed away from my page forever :(
